Andreas Lukse (July 2008)

Andreas Lukse (born 8 November 1987 in Vienna) is an Austrian football goalkeeper. He plays for SV Kapfenberg in the First League, the second highest Austrian league.

Career

The goalkeeper started his career in Hütteldorf at SK Rapid amateurs as regular keeper. In the first team of Rapid he was called up for the first time in the 2006/07 season in the game against FC Wacker Tirol ( 2:2 ) for the hurt knee replacement goalkeeper Raimund Hedl. During the period of injury Hedl he sat with all the other games as a substitute goalkeeper on the bench. From January 2008 to June 2008 Lukse played on loan at DSV Leoben.

In the 2008 /09 season Lukse came to his first appearances for Rapid.

In the U -20 World Cup Canada 2007 Lukse was careful in the group match against Canada as well as in the 3rd place match against Chile the gate of the Austrian U -20 national team.

On 29 May 2009 the keeper was awarded by the Hütteldorfern for the 2009/10 season to the SK Sturm Graz, but came to no use in the first team.

In the summer of 2010, he was again awarded and joined the First Vienna FC.

Although he played regularly at the Vienna he had to leave the club after one season. His contract with Rapid ran out at the same time, which is why Lukse slipped into the Vereinslosigkeit. On October 13, 2011 it was announced that Lukse has signed a new contract until the summer of 2013 at FC Lustenau.

However, in January 2013 he moved to Kapfenberg, where he has a contract until the end of the season. The Kapfenberg SV can also exercise an option for next season.

Controversy

Due to nighttime escapades in the run up to Christmas 2008 his club colleague at Rapid René Gartler were Lukse, and sentenced to fines, which totaled 12,000 euros in Lukses case. Gartler had to pay a sum of 5,000 euros. Furthermore, both received a written warning of the management of their association.
