Andreas " tick " Neuendorf (2008)
Andreas Rainer Neuendorf ( born February 9, 1975 in Berlin), also known by his nickname and pseudonym names tick, is a German football player.
Professional career
The midfielder was for many years active in the 1st Bundesliga for Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Hertha BSC. From 2007 to 2010 he played for FC Ingolstadt 04, which he managed to climb from the Regionalliga Süd to the 2nd Bundesliga. Since the season 2010/2011 he plays for Hertha BSC II in the Regionalliga. In 157 Bundesliga matches, the midfielder scored 14 goals. In international cup competitions he came to a total of 15 appearances, eight of the UEFA Cup and seven in the Champions League. In the game of the UEFA Cup against Halmstad BK, he scored his only goal in international comparisons at club level. For the Germany U -21 - National team, he played 23 games and scored one goal. His greatest successes were also the runner-up in 1997 with Bayer Leverkusen, and each third place with Bayer Leverkusen (1998) and Hertha BSC (1999).
For the 2010/11 season Neuendorf returned to Hertha, where he is employed in the second team, but in the beginning was also the first team as a standby professional available and on 12 December 2010 compared to FC Erzgebirge Aue was used.
The 1.78 meter tall Berlin is divorced and has one child.
Nickname
Nicknamed the tick got Andreas Neuendorf of his former team-mates after Ulf Kirsten Neuendorf hospitalization because of a tick bite. To be allowed to wear his nickname per the articles of the German Football League GmbH on the jersey, Neuendorf had to let this first entry as an artist name on the identity card. He achieved this by letting auctioning two oil paintings specially crafted. He can officially bear his nickname tick on his jersey such as Brazilian football player since 2002.
2006, Neuendorf a cameo in the video for Sun Bank Flavour of the Berlin rapper Bushido. The latter bears in this scene a jersey Hertha BSC with the shirt number 20 and the name " tick " it.
