Andreas Nödl

Andreas Nödl (born 28 February 1987 in Vienna) is an Austrian ice hockey player who is under contract with EC Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Hockey League the highest since November 2013.

Career

Andreas Nödl began his career at the Vienna EV, where he went through the entire youth department. During the NHL Entry Draft 2006 Nödl was selected in the second round, when a total of 39 players from the Philadelphia Flyers. Previously, he spent two years with the Sioux Falls Stampede in the United States Hockey League. After Thomas Vanek, who played there for three years, Nödl was the second Austrian in the club from South Dakota. He then spent two years in the NCAA team the St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud State University Huskies in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Towards the end of the 2007/ 08 Nödl was appointed to the AHL farm team the Flyers, the Philadelphia Phantoms, where he made ​​his debut in professional hockey.
