Andreas Rauscher

Andreas Rauscher (born 25 January 1978 in Graz) is an Austrian football player at the position of a defender.

Career

Rauscher went through the mini boys on the classic children 's and youth training in the youth teams of the Grazer AK. In the amateur team of Athletiker under coach Werner Gregoritsch he was then as a central midfielder already captain and leading players. As a squad player, he was already in the 1997/98 season under coach Klaus Augenthaler with a short stint to his Bundesliga debut.

In summer 1998, he joined the second class FC Kärnten, but even there he could not establish himself in the starting eleven. 2000 then he moved to FC Gratkorn to the regional center. In 2004 he succeeded now used primarily as a Defensive midfielder or central defender, with the Gratkornern promotion to the second highest Austrian league.

After eight years at Gratkorn he was in 2008, brought to the rise of Kapfenberg SV in the Bundesliga by his former youth coach Gregoritsch to the Upper Styrian.
