Andreas Salcher

Andreas Salcher ( born December 18, 1960 in Vienna) is a former politician of the ÖVP, co-founder of the Sir Karl Popper School, consultant and author.

Biography

1986 doctorate Andreas Salcher Doctor of Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics. His dissertation is entitled " Strategic Organization Development: A system- oriented management concept for implementation of long-term strategies for change ." In 1989 he graduated from the " Program for Senior Managers in Government " at Harvard University.

His political career began in 1985 as Salcher State Chairman of the Young ÖVP Vienna. In 1987 he was elected the youngest member of the Vienna State Parliament, where he served a total of 12 years. From 1992 to 1996 Salcher was deputy state party chairman of the Austrian People's Party. By culture Councillor Peter Marboe he was appointed Chairman of the Culture Committee of the City of Vienna. 2005 different Andreas Salcher out of the Vienna City Council.

The former provincial education spokesman and Deputy Federal School spokesman founded after a personal meeting with Karl Popper together with Bernhard Görg 1998, the first Austrian school for gifted children. To date, Salcher is executive vice president of the association for the promotion of Sir Karl Popper school, which sees itself as a learning system that makes mistakes, this admits that reflects and improve after the trial and error approach investigated.

Since 1997, directs Andreas Salcher a consulting firm. In his projects, he combines the ancient wisdom teachings of the humanity with modern management concepts.

In 2004 he founded along with Gundula Maria treasure the Forest Cell Institute, which organized the forest cell meetings annually from 2004 to 2008. 2007 Salcher left the organization. In the same year he initiated the global education project "The Curriculum Project - Creating the Schools of Tomorrow" with the aim to invent new school tomorrow with the best minds in the world. In the center of the right to life of every child in the world is on the development of his talent. Salchers first work on this subject by the talented student and his enemies was awarded in September 2008 with the Golden Book of the Main Association of the Austrian Book Trade. 2009 Salcher was elected the favorite book to the " Author of the Year " and the " Communicator of the Year" of the Austrian Public Relations Association. 2012 published two works by Andreas Salcher entitled My last hour and No more school - More and more joy. In the same year, both the injured person and as my last hour by the Association of Austrian book trade have been awarded the platinum book for more than 50,000 copies sold in Vienna.
