Andreas Samland

Andreas Sambia (* 1974 in Oelde Westphalia ) is a German filmmaker.

After school Sambia worked in Darmstadt, Manchester and Hamburg as a 3D artist in the development of various Playstation games and video games. Since 1999 Sambia studied at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin.

Prizes and awards

For his films Sambia twice won the award for Best Short Film at the Brooklyn International Film Festival, 2003 with the film day 26 and 2004 with the dud.
