Andreas Stjernen
Andreas Stjernen ( born July 30, 1988 in Levanger ) is a Norwegian ski jumper.
Career
Stjernen made his international debut on 12 February 2005 at the Continental Cup competitions in Brotterode. In the two jumping he reached the 49th place. At the Junior World Championship 2005 in Rovaniemi, Finland, he reached the 6th place with the team. From September 2005 to January 2006 started Stjernen in the FIS Cup. At the Junior World Cup in 2006 in Kranj he was in single Nineteenth and with the team in the team competition in fifth place. From March 2006, he started again in the Continental Cup. He was able to win the Continental Cup points on March 12, 2006 in Bischofshofen first time. At the Junior World Cup 2007 in Tarvisio, he jumped again with the team to 5th place. In individual he came at the end on the 44th. After increasing power, he started on March 15, 2009 in the qualification for the World Cup ski flying in Vikersund. However, he could rely to the 49th place not qualify for jumping. On 5 December 2009 he start for the first time at a World Cup competition in Lillehammer and won with a 19th place for the first time World Cup points. His previous best World Cup result he reached on January 15, 2011 in Sapporo with Rank 8 On March 5th 2011 won Stjernen in Kuopio first time jumping of the Continental Cup. In the following winter 2011/2012, he dominated the Continental Cup with five wins and two additional podium finishes, so that he was able to secure the overall title at the end. On February 16, 2013 reached Stjernen with a second place at the ski jumping at the Heini Klopfer ski jump in Oberstdorf his first World Cup podium. A day later, he won the Norwegian team that Mannschaftsskifliegen within the FIS Team Tour in 2013 and thus achieved not only his first World Cup victory but also contributed to the overall victory of the Norwegians in the Team Tour in, by the day's victory, the previously leading Slovenian could intercept selection yet. At the end of the season took Stjernen third place in the ski flying World Cup.
