Andreas Trautmann

Andreas Trautmann ( born May 21, 1959 in Dresden ) is a retired German footballer, who played 1977-1991 in the GDR Oberliga for Dynamo Dresden. He was three times GDR champion and cup winner. He was player of the year in the GDR in 1989. Trautmann is 14 - times East German national team.

Career as a player

Dynamo Dresden

Trautmann began his football career at BSG Empor tobacco Dresden. He later moved to Dresden and FSV Lok was from there in 1972, he was delegated at the age of 13 years to Dresden Dynamo Dresden football focus. His first league game graduated from the now trained as engineer fitter Trautmann outside left Hallows for the non- deployable Rainer axis on matchday 11 of the season 1977/78, 3 December 1977, the encounter Dynamo Dresden - BFC Dynamo (1:2). At the two last championship win for Dynamo Dresden 1988/89 and 1989/90, he was involved with 20 or 16 missions. He was chosen by the sports editors of the GDR media to football in 1989. In the 1990/91 season there was a six-month break in Trautmann's Dynamo commitment. In the summer of 1990, he was sold with his team-mates Matthias Döschner and Hans- Uwe Pilz for 513,000 DM to SC Fortuna Köln in the Bundesliga 2. After only ten missions in the 2nd Bundesliga Trautmann returned together with mushroom in early 1991 to Dynamo Dresden, where he again graduated 134 minutes in three games the last GDR Oberliga season. This Trautmann had denied 270 point games within 14 seasons and scored 48 Championship goals. According to Hans -Jürgen Dörner (392 ) and Reinhard Häfner ( 366) has Trautmann making it the third most Oberliga inserts all Dynamo players. Of the discharged during this period 54 European matches he played 41 matches in which he scored seven goals. Among other things, he was present at the furthest advance of the Dynamo club in European competition, as the Dresden penetrated 1989 to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup competition. Trautmann was in both games against VfB Stuttgart (0:1, 1:1) as a defender in the team.

Although Dynamo Dresden had qualified for the Bundesliga season 1991/92, Trautmann no longer was used. Rather, he was released in early 1992, when it became known that he had worked for the East German state security service. Trautmann joined the Dresdner SC, where he played from 1992 to 1995, first in the Amateur Oberliga and the last in fünftklassigen division. As a recreational soccer player, he played a few more months when sechstklassigen district division club VfL Pirna- Copitz until the spring of 1996, a knee injury ended his career finally as an active football player.

National players

1976 and 1977 belonged Trautmann squad for the East German junior national team, but only played two matches on October 10, 1976 ( German Democratic Republic - Poland 1:0) and on 23 April 1977 ( East Germany - Romania 0:0). A year later he was admitted to the levy of the junior national team, with whom he performed in twelve matches between 1978 and 1980. It was not until the age of 23 came Trautmann his first appearance in the senior team. DDR ( 0:2 ) was used as a right midfielder - On 10 February 1983 he was in the international match Tunisia. He played a total of 14 A- international matches, but was only in the years 1983 and 1989 to the player base. His last international match was the World Cup qualifier DDR - Austria (1:1) on 20 May 1989, in which he played as usual at Dynamo in defense. Between 1980 and 1983 he was part of the East German Olympic team football. 1980 he was employed with a brief appearance in the quarter-finals to the team that captured the silver medal in the Olympic football tournament in Moscow. With his teammates, he was awarded in the same year with the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze. For the Olympic tournament in 1984 Trautmann played five qualifying games, but because of the Olympic boycott the GDR he could not take part in the finals in Los Angeles.

Career as a coach

After Trautmann returned in 2000 for a short time again as a talent scout to Dynamo Dresden, he coached from 2001 to 2011 the Saxon division club VfL Pirna- Copitz.
