Andreas Voss (footballer)

Andreas Voss (born 27 February 1979 in Stolberg ) is a former German football player.

Career

Clubs

He began his professional career at Bayer 04 Leverkusen. In 1999 he joined initially on loan to MSV Duisburg. Because the zebras descended into the 2nd Bundesliga, his commitment ended at the Wedau and Voss was subsequently borrowed for another year at VfL Wolfsburg. In 2001 he returned again on loan to MSV, since he could not prevail with the wolves. When Bayer has squandered the option of continued employment in the summer of 2003, Duisburg gave the midfielder a permanent contract.

In his career, Voss played 13 Bundesliga games (one goal ) and 96 second division games ( eleven goals) for MSV Duisburg. In addition, he played nine games in the first Bundesliga for VfL Wolfsburg.

In April 2008, Voss announced that he finally ended his active career as a professional footballer. Due to a persistent knee injury, he applied for disability sport and began a two- year-old coach training at MSV. He made his coaching A license and at this time was assistant coach of the U -23 team Duisbuger.

For the second half of 2011/12 Andreas Voss closed again as an active player the country's division GSV Moers and is from the 2013/14 season along with Erdem Onat active there as a coach.

National

For the German U-21 national team Andreas Voss played between 1998 and 2000 a total of 14 matches in which he scored six goals. He was on 6 June 2002 at the team in 2006, the perspective of the DFB team that lost in Mönchengladbach with 1-2 against the "A 2- selection " of Turkey.
