Andreas Wistuba

Andreas Wistuba ( born March 4, 1967) is a German botanist from Mannheim, specializing in carnivorous plants. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Wistuba ".

Wistuba interested in already as a teenager for carnivorous plants and founded with 14 other people in 1984 in his parents' living room, the Society of Carnivorous plants. Wistuba, has often been described in association with Joachim mink, many new types of the two carnivorous plant genera and marsh pitcher plants pitchers. He also leads an international mail order ("The Nepenthes Nursery " ) for both classes.
