Andrei Makrov

Andrei Makrov (Russian: Андрей Владимирович Макров / Andrei Vladimirovich Makrow; born December 14, 1979 in Tallinn, Estonian SSR) is an Estonian ice hockey player who stands since 2012 at HK Sary- Arka Karaganda in the Wysschaja Hockey League contract.

Career

Andrei Makrov began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the Russian clubs CSKA Moscow HK, for the second team, he was active in the third-class Perwaja League from 1996 to 1998. Then the attacker played a year for the U20 Juniors of the Finnish first division club HIFK Helsinki, before he in the first team of FPS Forssa in the Mestis, the Finnish second division, spent two years. The season 2001/ 02 and 2002/ 03 he joined Molot - Prikamye Perm in the Russian Super League and at FPS Forssa in Mestis and finished it in each of the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league in Neftjanik Leninogorsk.

From 2003 to 2006 Makrov stood at Neftjanik Almetyevsk and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Wysschaja League under contract. The season 2006/ 07 he also started in the Wysschaja League at HK Dmitrov, but he left this after only 14 games and played in the next two years in parallel for the HK Junost Minsk and HC Dinamo Minsk in the Belarusian Extraliga. After he had been active in the 2008 /09 season for their league rivals HK Gomel, the Este for the following season signed for Slovenian Club HK Jesenice in the Austrian Hockey League in 52 games 52 scorer points, including 27 goals for him to achieve, could, and thus was one of the best attackers of his team, as well as the entire league. With the second team Jesenices he was also Slovenian champion. In the playoffs, he contributed eleven points in five games significantly to this success.

From 2010 to 2012 Makrov played for Metallurg Zhlobin in the Belarusian Extraliga. He then moved to the Sary- Arka Karaganda HK from the Wysschaja Hockey League.

Internationally

For Estonia Makrov took part in the junior level at the U20 Junior D World Cup 1997 and the U20 Junior C World Cup 1999. In the senior level, he took up for his country at the World Championships C- 2002 and 2010 as well as in the B World Championships in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011. During his long international career Makrov received numerous individual awards and was both the best players of his country, as well as the respective World Cup group played in this.
