Andrei Nazarov (athlete)

Andrei Nazarov ( born January 9, 1965 in Tallinn ) is a former Estonian decathlete.

His personal best of 8322 points he put up in Sochi on 17 May 1987.

In 1990, he was starting for the Soviet Union, eighth at the European Athletics Championships in Split.

As a representative of Estonia, he came at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona on the 14th Place. In 1994, he finished in eleventh place at the European Championships in Helsinki, 1995 Tenth at the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg. At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, he gave up.

Andrei Nazarov is as well as his former wife, Lithuanian Heptathlete Remigija Nazarovienė, athletics coach at Estonian Association.
