Andrei Posnov

Andrei Valeryevich Posnow (Russian: Андрей Валерьевич Поснов; born November 19, 1981 in Vorkuta, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who stands since 2011 at Vityaz Chekhov in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Andrei Posnow began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the HK Spartak Moscow, for the second team, he was active in the third-class Perwaja league in the season 1998 /99. Subsequently, the winger moved to junior department of the city Krylia Sovetov Moscow neighbors, with whom he was initially also used in the second team in the league Perwaja. In the 2000 /01 season he made his debut for Krylia Sowetows professional team in the league Wysschaja, the second Russian league, and went with his team straight into the super league. In this he scored in his rookie year, the 2001/02 season, in 49 games 17 points scorer, twelve gates.

For the 2002/03 season Posnow returned to HK Spartak Moscow, however, had then with his team suffered relegation in the Wysschaja league. In the following season with his team, he managed to re- direct promotion to the Super League, but he joined the Super League participants Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. Towards the end of the season 2005/ 06 joined the Russians within the Russia's highest league for SKA Saint Petersburg. From 2007 to 2009 he played for HK Sibir Novosibirsk - first in the Super League and in the 2008/09 season in the Kontinental Hockey League newly established.

The 2009/10 season spent Posnow at Atlant Mytischtschi. For the following season, he was of the KHL league rivals Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod committed before he joined Vityaz Chekhov in the summer of 2011.
