Andrei Sergeyev

Andrei Nikolayevich Sergeyev (Russian: Андрей Николаевич Сергеев; born March 26, 1991, Simferopol, Ukrainian SSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Spartak Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2013.

Career

Andrei Sergeev began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, for the second team, he was active from 2007 to 2009 in the third-class Perwaja league. In parallel, he played in the 2008 /09 season for the first team of Neftjanik Leninogorsk in Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. In the following season the defender ran again in the Wysschaja League, but this time for Ariada- Akpars Wolschsk on. The rest of the time he spent for Neftechimiks junior team reactor in the junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league. For the professional team of Neftekhimik he was also in a single game in the Kontinental Hockey League on the ice.

The 2010/11 season Sergeyev spent mostly in the MHL in the youth team Neftekhimik while he was only sporadically in the squad of KHL teams. In January 2011 he transferred within the KHL HK for CSKA Moscow, for its junior team Krasnaya Armia he was also active in the MHL.

In January 2013 Serhejew was initially loaned to Amur Khabarovsk, before transferring to HK Spartak Moscow in May of the same year.

Internationally

For Russia Sergeyev took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2009, as well as the U20 Junior World Cup 2011 part. In the U18 World Championships, he won the silver in the U20 World Championship gold medal with his team. Win the title at the 2011 U20 World Cup, he contributed one goal in seven games.
