Andrei Zintchenko

Andrei Zinchenko (Russian: Андрей Зинченко, also Andreï Zintchenko, born January 5, 1972 in Samara ) is a former Russian cyclist.

Life

Zinchenko began his career in 1994 with the team Porcelana Santa Clara. He drove for three years before joining for a year to Estepona en Marcha. In 1998 he drove for Vitalicio Seguros and won three stages at the Vuelta a España. In 1999, he won the Escalada a Montjuïc and then moved to the Portuguese team LA Pecol. There he went four years and won among other stages of the Vuelta a España, the Portugal tour, the Tour of Asturias and the Volta ao Alentejo. In the latter tour he decided the overall rating for themselves. In 2004 and 2005 he was with Milaneza under contract and as of 2006 he drove for the team Riberalves - Alcobaça, he ended his cycling career.
