Andrei Zubarev
Andrei Zubarev (Russian: Андрей Сергеевич Зубарев; born March 3, 1987 in Ufa, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since May 2012 again with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career
Andrei Zubarev began his career as a hockey player in his home town in the area of Salavat Yulaev Ufa young, for whose first team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in season 2003/ 04. In the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 the defender was selected in the sixth round as a total of 187 players from the Atlanta Thrashers for which, however, he never played. Instead, he stayed in the Super League and moved to Ak Bars Kazan. With Kazan he won the 2006 Russian Championship, and the 2008 IIHF Continental Cup. In the 2006/07 season the links Sagittarius went with the Ak Bars also the championship finals, failed with his team but at the Metallurg Magnitogorsk.
For the 2008/09 season Zubarev signed with Atlant Mytischtschi from the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League. In August 2010, Zubarev signed a temporary two -year contract with the Atlanta Thrashers. This put the Russians primarily in the AHL Chicago Wolves squad of one, in which he was placed as a regular player. After graduating from the Thrashers in his only season in Atlanta only four games to Subarew decided to return to Russia and adopted in June 2011 an offer of his ex- club Atlant Mytischtschi.
In May 2012, he signed a contract for two years buying time with his hometown club Salavat Yulaev Ufa
Internationally
For Russia Subarew took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2005, as well as the U20 World Junior Championships in 2006 and 2007 in part.
