Andrej Hoteev

Andrej Hoteev (Russian: Андрей Хотеев / Andrei Chotejew, 2nd December 1946 in Leningrad ) is a Russian pianist living in Germany.

Life

Andrej Hoteev studied at the Rimsky- Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg and at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Lev Naumov. in Moscow. In 1983 he made ​​his debut in the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. It was followed by other appearances in Russia. The artistic encounters with Sviatoslav Richter in June 1985 in St. Petersburg gave the decisive impulse for the pianistic style of Andrei Hoteev. From 1990, he was able to give, on the recommendation of Valery Gergiev concerts in the Netherlands and in Germany.

1993 undertook Hoteev his first European tour through Russia, Britain, Germany, Belgium and Spain and made ​​his first CD recording in France.
