Andrej Meszároš

Andrej Meszaros (born 13 October 1985 in Považská Bystrica, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak professional ice hockey player who plays for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League in March 2014.

Career

Andrej Meszaros started his career with HC Dukla Trenčín Slovak Club ( drafted in the Slovak Extraliga with which he was Slovakian champions in the 2003/04 season before as 23 players selected in the first round at the NHL Entry Draft in 2004 by the Senators ) was.

Due to the lockout in the season 2004/ 05 Andrej Meszaros could collect no NHL experience, and so he played with the Vancouver Giants in the Western Hockey League. For the Slovak National Hockey Team Andrej Meszaros took part in the World Ice Hockey Championship in 2004 and at the 2006 Olympics in Turin. There he was behind the Russian Yevgeny Malkin 's second youngest participant of the Olympic hockey tournament. Meszaros participated with the Slovak national ice hockey team at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

In the U- 18 World Championships in 2003 he also won the silver medal with the Slovak team.
