Andrés Sapelak
Andrés Sapelak SDB ( born December 13, 1919 in Ryszkowa Wola, Poland) is a Polish prelate of the united with the Roman Catholic Church Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite in Argentina.
He joined the Congregation of the Salesians of Don Bosco and was ordained priest on 29 June 1949.
On August 14, 1961, he was appointed auxiliary bishop in the chair of the Byzantine faithful in Argentina and Titular Bishop of Sebastopolis in Thracia and consecrated on 15 October 1961 Bishop.
On February 9, 1968, he was appointed Bishop of the Eparchy of Santa María del Patrocinio en Buenos Aires, which he headed until his retirement on 12 December 1997.
