Andrew Adamson
Andrew Ralph Adamson, MNZM ( born December 1, 1966 in Auckland ) is a New Zealand film director.
Life
2001 Andrew Adamson gave to the animated film Shrek his directorial debut. Prior to this he was responsible for the visual effects in the film Batman Forever. His first work as a director with real actors is the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe, based on the well-known novel series by CS Lewis is based. The film was very successful internationally in theaters. The film adaptation of the second volume, entitled The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian launched on 31 July 2008 in the cinemas. In this film also led Andrew Adamson, the director and wrote the screenplay.
