Andrew Ainslie Common

Andrew Ainslie Common ( born August 7, 1841 in Newcastle upon Tyne, † June 2, 1903 in Ealing ) was a British astronomer.

In his observations, he discovered numerous fog, which he published in the Journal of Copernicus. Later, these discoveries by Johan Ludvig Emil Dreyer were taken, published in the 1888 New General Catalogue. He is regarded as the discoverer of 29 NGC objects.
