Andrew, Duke of Calabria

Andrew of Hungary (* November 30, 1327, † September 18, 1345 in Aversa ) was a Hungarian prince of the House of Anjou.

Life

Andrew was the second son of King Charles I Robert of Hungary and his wife Elisabeth, née Princess of Poland, sister of the last Piast, King Casimir the Great. On September 28, 1333, he was with his second cousin, Joan of Anjou, engaged. The wedding took place in the spring of 1342.
