Andrew Latimer

Andrew (Andy ) Latimer ( born May 17, 1947) is a British musician and founding member of the rock band Camel. Latimer is primarily responsible for voice and guitar in Camel, plays on many albums as well as flute and keyboards. In 1991, Latimer his own record label, "Camel Productions ", which sells all albums by Camel today.

On 18 May 2007, the management of Camel announced that Andy Latimer suffers from the blood disorder polycythemia. Due to the effects of this disease and the rigors of the move Latimer in his English home, it was Camel after the " Farewell Tour " in 2003, hardly possible to produce more music. Even the " Farewell Tour " was planned under the impression of Latimer's disease as a farewell tour.
