Andrew Lincoln

Andrew Lincoln ( born 14 September 1973 in London; actually Andrew James Clutterbuck ) is a British actor, director and spokesperson.

Life and Family

Lincoln was born in London, under the name of Andrew James Clutterbuck, born, but spent his early years in Kingston upon Hull. His mother was a South African nurse and his father a British civil engineer. At age 10 he moved with his family to Bath, where he attended the Beechen Cliff School. After he graduated from the popular Royal Academy of Dramatic Art ( RADA ) in London and while studying at RADA, he changed his last name to Lincoln.

On June 10, 2006 Lincoln married Gael Anderson, the daughter of Scottish singer Ian Anderson. The couple has two children. His older brother Richard Clutterbuck leads the Bristol Free School.

Career

Lincoln's internationally known film has been the romantic comedy Love Actually ... in which he opposite Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth and Keira Knightley played the role of Mark. Lincoln works not only as an actor but also as a spokesman for the British radio and television and for synchronization.

Since 2010, Lincoln plays the lead role of Rick Grimes in the zombie series The Walking Dead, for which he was nominated in 2011 and 2013 for the Saturn Award.
