Andrew Murray (ice hockey)

Andrew Murray ( born November 6, 1981 in Selkirk, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with the KHL Medveščak Zagreb in the Kontinental Hockey League since July 2013.

Career

The 1.88 m wide center first played from 1999 to 2001 for the Selkirk Steelers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. He then spent two seasons at Bemidji State University and went for the ice hockey team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association on the ice. NHL Entry Draft 2001 Murray was selected in the eighth round at position 242 of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
