Andrew Nicholson (equestrian)

Andrew Nicholson ( born August 1, 1961 in Te Awamutu, Waikato ) is a New Zealand eventing riders and six-time participant in the Olympic Games.

Nicholson moved in the 1980s to England, he saw better opportunities for his career here. He lives in the English market town of Marlborough, where he has worked as an instructor for eventing horses.

In January 2014 he married his longtime girlfriend, the British eventer Wiggy Channer. From the relationship two children come.

  • Olympic Games: 1984: with Kahlua 6th place with the team and 28th in the individual
