Andrew Owusu

Andrew Owusu ( born July 8, 1972) is a retired Ghanaian athlete who competed in the disciplines of long jump and triple jump.

Among his greatest sporting achievements include winning the gold medal in the triple jump at the Pan-African Games in 1999 and 2003. During the same discipline he was in 1998 with a personal best of 17.23 m African champions. Two years later he was able to repeat this success.

Owusu also took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Melbourne, as well as in Athens in 2004, but remained without medal success.

At a size of 1.80 m his competition weight was 75 kg.

Owusu has been a lecturer at the Middle Tennessee State University in the U.S. today.
