Andrew Rock

Andrew Rock ( born January 23, 1982 in Marshfield, Wisconsin) is an American track and field athlete.

The 400 -meter runners skirt came for the first time in the spotlight, as he to the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 was sixth at the U.S. Trials in Sacramento, California, and was therefore invited for the season - competitions to the games. In Athens, he was then nominated 400 m relay as the third leg of the first qualifying heat of the 4 x and thus laid the foundation for the later Olympic victory of his colleagues.

He was competing with a time of 44.70 seconds third in the U.S. championships and was allowed for the first time at a major international competition in a single competition in 2005. At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005, he confirmed this nomination by winning the silver medal behind Jeremy Wariner. He improved his personal best in this race in 44.35 seconds.
