Andrew Ross Sorkin

Andrew Ross Sorkin ( born February 19, 1977) is an American journalist and author. He writes for the New York Times about the financial world and is the responsible reporter for Mergers & Acquisitions. He is also host of the morning program Squawk Box of the American Stock Exchange CNBC.

Life

Sorkin graduated in 1995 from the Scarsdale High School. Followed in 1999, a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University. As a student, Sorkin worked for the magazines The Times and Business Week. In 1999, he reported from London, and was appointed in 2000 to his current position at the New York Times. In 2001, Sorkin DealBook, a news service that is published by his newspaper and is also available as a website.

Sorkin is a member of the New York Council on Foreign Relations.

Sorkin lives with his wife in Manhattan, New York City.
