Andrew Scheinman

Andrew Scheinman ( born April 19, 1948) is an American film producer, screenwriter and director.

Scheinman produced in 1980 his first film and wrote the screenplay for Charlton Heston's gold fever. In 1987 he founded, inter alia, with Rob Reiner, the film company Castle Rock Entertainment and produced in the following years a number of films in which Reiner directed. In 1993, Rob Reiner, David Brown and he nominated as a producer of a question of honor for an Oscar. The award went to Clint Eastwood for Unforgiven. In the same year he won an Emmy as a producer of the television series Seinfeld.

The last time he produced in 1996 and since then has written several screenplays, including for the films Bait - Fette Beute and Flipped.
