Andrew Sean Greer

Andrew Sean Greer ( b. 1970 in Washington DC) is an American writer.

Greer studied Creative Writing at Brown University. After several years in New York, where he earned his living by doing odd jobs, he moved to Missoula, where he was awarded at the University of Montana Master of Fine Arts. He lives with his husband in San Francisco.

2012/13 Greer holds the Samuel Fischer Guest Professorship for Literature at the Peter Szondi Institute of the Free University of Berlin.
