Andritsena (Greek Ανδρίτσαινα ( f sg ), also Andritsaina ) is a village in the Peloponnese in the Greek region Western Greece. From 1951 to 2010 it was the seat of a municipality of the same name. This church was in 2010 merged with the municipalities Alifira and Skillounda the new community Andritsena - Krestena, where she has since been a district with a population of 1,868 forms ( 2011).

The ancient city Andritsaina was attributed to the Arcadia region.

Andritsena lies at an altitude of about 750 meters (highest point 1000 meters) in the mountainous heartland between Olympia and Tripoli by the National Road 76 between Skillounda and Megalopolis. The picturesque village is often a way station for tourists who want to visit the 14 km south Temple of Apollo at Bassae.
