Andrij Olexandrowytsch Dykan (Ukrainian Андрій Олександрович Дикань; Russian Андрей Александрович Дикань; * July 16, 1977 in Kharkov, Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian football goalkeeper.

Career

Association

Andrij Dykan began his career at smaller clubs in Ukraine until he got an offer from the Russian second league, where he scored regularly penalty kicks. In 2004 Dykan moved to FK Kuban Krasnodar where he was also a regular player until an injury; he lost his regular place and went back to Ukraine to Tawrija Simferopol. In January he left Tawrija, and joined the Terek Grozny. His outstanding performance in the first half of 2010 brought him an offer from Spartak Moscow. In August 2010 Dykan signed a contract with Spartak Moscow.

National

Andrij Dykan debut for Ukraine in a friendly match against Norway on June 2, 2010. Due to severe head injuries that Dykan drew upon in a league match against Zenit St. Petersburg on March 31, 2012 the keeper the 2012 European Football Championship in their own country is expected to miss.
