Andriy Rusol

Andrij Russol (Ukrainian Андрій Русол, scientific transliteration Andriy Rusol; born January 16, 1983 in Kirovohrad ) is a former Ukrainian football player.

Russol began playing football with his hometown club FK Sirka Kirovohrad, where he had been a Erstligaeinsatz before he came to the league rivals Krywbas Krivoy Rog 16 years. There he became the key players in defense. In 2003 he then moved to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk top club, where he ended his career in 2011.

In the Ukrainian national team, he had his first appearance in 2004. By convincing performance, he played himself in the trunk of the team, and in the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany, he played through. The successful initial qualification of Ukraine for a World Cup, he was in the squad for his first world missions. Andriy scored the very first goal of the Ukrainian national team in a World Cup group match against Saudi Arabia.
