Andros Kyprianou

Andros Kyprianou (Greek Άνδρος Κυπριανού; born October 26, 1955 in Strovolos ) is a Cypriot politician and, since January 21, 2009, the Secretary General of the once Marxist-Leninist and now Euro -communist Progressive Party of the Working People ( AKEL ).

On 21 January 2009 he was elected with 57 votes out of 105 to the Secretary-General. He also heads the Committee for Internal Matters characteristics in parliament ..

Andros Kyprianou was earlier competition level in badminton. In 1988, he won the Cyprus International Mixed in with Christine Heatly from Scotland.
