Andrzej Bartkowiak

Andrzej Bartkowiak ( born 1950 in Łódź) is a Polish cinematographer and film director.

Life

He has lived since the 1970s in the United States and thus began his career as a cameraman. His first known works were films of Sidney Lumet, followed by many well-known works in the 1980s and 1990s, including Speed ​​and Lethal Weapon 4 His directorial debut was in 2000 with the action film Romeo Must Die, and has since been working predominantly as a director.

Bartkowiak was associated in the 1980s with the actress Diane Venora and the couple have a daughter named Magda.
