Andrzej Kupczyk

Andrzej Kupczyk ( born October 26, 1948 in Świdnica ) is a former Polish middle distance runner, who specializes in the 800 -meter distance.

In 1969, he was sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Athens. A fifth place finish at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Vienna in 1970 was followed by a bronze medal at the European Indoor Championships in 1971 in Sofia.

In 1972 he won with the Polish team bronze in the 4 x 720 -meter relay at the European Indoor Championships in Grenoble and was seventh at the Olympic Games in Munich.

1971 and 1973 he was Polish champion over 800 m, 1970 1500 m.
