Andrzej Mleczko

Andrzej Mleczko ( born January 5, 1949 in Kolbuszowa ) is a Polish graphic artist and satirical political cartoonist.

Mleczko originally studied architecture in Krakow and debuted in 1971 as a satirical draftsman in the student magazine Student. Since that time Mleczko is primarily concerned with satirical drawings and created more than 20,000 drawings that were published in numerous national and international journals. His works have been published in numerous books and albums.

Over 100 exhibitions at home and abroad presented his drawings. In 1983 he opened his first author in Krakow Gallery, which now not only his drawings and books sold, but also a variety of products such as T- shirts and coffee mugs with designs from his work. 2002, a further gallery was opened in Warsaw. For years, he commented a week with his drawings the political and social events in Poland in the political weekly magazine Polityka.
