Andy Ashurst

Andy Ashurst (actually Andrew John Ashurst, born January 2, 1965 in Manchester ) is a former British pole vaulter.

In 1986, he won for England starting at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. At the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, he retired in the qualifier without a valid attempt.

In 1994 he was at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria sixth.

Once he was English Champion outdoors (1994) and four times in the Hall (1986, 1988-1990). In addition, he was five times British Champion ( 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991).
