Andy Daly

Andrew Daly ( born April 15, 1971 in Mount Kisco, New York) is an American actor, comedian and screenwriter.

Career

Daly began his career in New York City and along with Andy Secunda as a comedy duo The Two Andys, with whom she appeared Festival in 1999 as part of the Aspen Comedy. He also was a member of improvisational theater Chicago City Limits. He was part of the comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade, which was co-founded among others by Adam McKay, after they had moved from Chicago to New York. Also in the founded by Amy Poehler and guided improv group The Swarm he became a member.

On television, he got in the late 90's first appearances on the show Late Night with Conan O'Brien and worked as a spokesperson for the cartoons show Saturday Night Live. In 2000 he became a member of the TV show MADtv from their sixth season. After leaving MADtv in 2002, he became one of the leading actors and authors of Crossballs on Comedy Central. He also played various characters in the series Reno 911. 2007 he appeared as Benjamin Franklin in the U.S. version of the comedy series The Office, The Office, on. Since the first season of the HBO series Eastbound & Down, he plays the role of director Terrence Cutler. Since 2010 he has been seen in the series Delocated.

Making his first appearance in a movie he had in 2004 in the comedy Christmas with the Kranks with Tim Allen. It was followed by engagements in films like Semi-Pro with Will Ferrell and Transformers 3

Aside from acting, he has worked as a stand- up comedian.

Daly lives in Los Angeles and is married to actress Carri Levinson.
