Andy Hug

Andreas " Andy " Hug ( born September 7, 1964 in Wohlen; † August 24, 2000 in Tokyo ) was a Swiss martial artist and winner of several championships in kickboxing, Thai boxing, Kyokushinkai and K -1.

The K- 1 in Zurich, he won several times, and in 1996 won Hug the big "K- 1 World Grand Prix Final » in Tokyo.

Surprisingly, on 17 August 2000, the news that Andy Hug was suffering from leukemia. On August 23, he fell into a coma and died the next day at the age of 35 years.
