Andy Kim

Andy Kim ( born December 5, 1946 Andrew Youakim in Montreal, Canada) is a Canadian singer and composer. Together with producer Jeff Barry he succeeded the late 60s to the early 70s several hits, including the million-seller, Sugar, Sugar by the Archies. In 1969 he had with his version of the Ronettes hits Baby, I Love You 1963 his first major success as a singer.

In 1974 he founded with his brother Joel own label. The first release was the self-penned Rock Me Gently, which developed within a very short time to his second super hit. After that we heard nothing more of nine years, Kim until he under the new stage name Barron Longfellow showed up again in 1983. He could, however, the successes of the past, unable to match and drew largely from the active music business.
