Andrew "Andy" King ( born October 29, 1988 in Maidenhead ) is a Welsh international footballer, who has worked for the English second division Leicester City since 2007.

The active since the age of 16 at Leicester City Andy King began his playing career on 2 October 2007 in a home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Football League Championship 2007 /08. In the trained team of Ian Holloway, he completed eleven league games and scored one goal. Leicester took the end of the season third from bottom and put up at the third-rate Football League One. Under the new coach Nigel Pearson the club (27 league goals ) succeeded to regulars Andy King (45 games / 9 goals) and leading scorer Matty Fryatt in the following year an excellent season. Leicester secured the third league championship against Peterborough United and returned after a year in the Football League Championship.
Also in the 2009/10 season succeeded the climber to preserve its good performance. With a fifth place in the standings City reached the play-off semi-final against Cardiff City Fourth. Welsh national team
Due to his Welsh grandfather was born in England Andy King was eligible to play for the Welsh national football team. After playing for the U -19 and U -21 teams he celebrated on May 22, 2009 in a friendly against Estonia made his debut in the senior team. His most single hit for Wales he succeeded on August 11, 2010 in a friendly match against Luxembourg.
