Andy Panko

Andrew Panko ( born November 29, 1977 in Harrisburg ) is an American professional basketball player.

Career

Panko started his professional career in 1999 at New Mexico Slam in the IBL where he played until the dissolution of the League in 2001. About the Atlanta Hawks, he moved to Europe for the first time in 2001 and signed a one year contract with the Italian first division Basket Napoli. Between 2002 and 2007, Panko changed hands several times the club and the league. His greatest achievement during this period was 2003, the Gigantes de Carolina Championship won by Puerto Rico. In 2007 he moved to San Sebastián Gipuzkoa BC his now fourth station in the Spanish ACB League. His best season in San Sebastian he had 2011/2012 when he reached the quarter-finals of the Spanish Cup with the club and was elected in the same year and MVP in the All- Spanish ACB League team. He also completed the season as the most successful point shooter. 2012 was Panko the Greek club Panathinaikos Athens under contract.
