Aneby

Aneby is located a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Jönköping County, in the historical province of Småland, about 45 kilometers east of Jönköping and 22 kilometers north of Eksjö. The town is the capital of the municipality of the same name.

Aneby is an industrial center and with three free churches in a place free of ecclesiastical center.

North of Aneby is the 20 meter high waterfall Stalpet. It is close to the settlement Stjärneborg is a railway museum. The local railroad was the engineer Malte Stierngranat, who also built new stations, developed.
