Anegada-Passage

Geographical location

The Anegada Passage is a strait in the Caribbean Sea, which lies between the islands of the British Virgin Islands (in the west ) and the Sombrero Island (in the east ).

Both the British Virgin Islands, and the island of Sombrero, which belongs to Anguilla belong to the British overseas territories.

This strait connects between the Caribbean Sea in the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the north.

The namesake of the Anegada Passage is the namesake island of Anegada, which lies to the north of the strait is one of the British Virgin Islands. The island of Anegada is the island 's most northerly of the British Virgin Islands.
