ANEK Lines

ANEK Lines (Greek Ανώνυμη Ναυτιλιακή Εταιρεία Κρήτης ) is a Greek shipping company based in Chania, Crete, which is active in the ferry business. The shipping company operated connections between Piraeus and Crete, as well as between Italy and Greece. ANEK Lines was founded in 1967 by Cretan shareholders who had the desire to build its own shipping company that provides reliable and above all safe ferry service between Crete and the Greek mainland. History
