Anelia

Anelija Atanasowa Georgieva ( Bulgarian Анелия Георгиева Атанасова; born July 31, 1982 in Stara Zagora ) is a under the stage name Anelija ( Анелия ) occurring Bulgarian popfolk singer. Already their debut album Pogledni me w otschite ( Погледни ме в очите / " Look me in the eye" ) was a great commercial success in Bulgaria.

Biography

Anelija was born in 1982 in the town of Stara Zagora. She finished elementary school in her hometown. Already in the second class, she sang in the children's Trio " Sangesfreudige small Thracians " ( Bulg Гласовити тракийчета / Glasowiti Trakijtscheta ) - her home town is located in the Upper Thracian Plain. In 1994, the trio on his first album with folk songs from Thrace. Later she sang in the choir " Sagortsche " ( Bulg Загорче / dt The little ones from Stara Zagora ).

She was inducted into the National Music School for Folklore " Philip Koutev " in Kotel 1996. This she finished in 2001 in the field of " gadulka " (bagpipe ). In 2005 she passed the entrance exams at the National Music Academy in Sofia. Since then, she has been studying the specialty of " pop and jazz singing ."
