Anetan District
Anetan is a district in the north of the island state Nauru. It is bordered by Ewa in the west and to the east Anabar. It is 1.0 km ² and is inhabited by 587 people.
Anetan means, according to Paul Hambruch " Mangrove ", which suggests that there was once extensive mangrove forests; the mangroves are but, like most tree landscapes conditionally disappeared by the phosphate mining on the coast.
