San Juan County
Aneth is a settlement on community- free area in San Juan County in the U.S. state of Utah. For statistical purposes, the place has been combined to form a census-designated place (CDP). In 2010, Aneth had 501 inhabitants.
Aneth is the most south-eastern city of Utah on the north bank of the San Juan River, which defines the location on the opposite bank of the Navajo Nation Reservation to the north. The town is located 40 km north -west of the Four Corners, the interface between the states of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.
Aneth is located at 37 ° 12'58 " north latitude and 109 ° 11'13 " west longitude. The site extends over 30.4 km ², spread to 29.5 km ² land and 0.9 km ² water surface.
